Sri Sathya Sai Baba says “Humanitarianism is an extended and sublimated form of self-love. Man must first humanize himself before attempting to divinize himself. Cultivate humanness and be an ideal to society.” Swami was always engaged in humanitarian projects.  He was focused on providing basic needs to the people who are suffering either due to natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes or constructing homes, schools or hospitals, providing water supply, food and electricity for the underserved. In order to serve our brethren around the world in their time of greatest need that includes a disaster event, pandemic, poverty, and loss of homes, the Sri Sathya Sai Organization members have organized to adequately respond to major disaster events and relief missions, provide resources and training to members to handle disasters, deal with pandemic issues, conduct food drives and construct homes.
